Once upon a time (but not too long ago), in a land full of paperwork, language barriers, and apartment-hunting nightmares…

A group of newcomers landed in Germany, buzzing with excitement—but also overwhelmed. Everything was new: the rules, the systems, even how to say “mit karte bitte” in the supermarket.

They joined Facebook groups, scrolled through forums, and asked strangers how to register an address or open a bank account. It was like playing a real-life escape room—with no exit in sight.

That’s when the idea sparked:

What if there were one place, one app, one digital buddy that spoke your language, knew your struggles, and guided you like a friendly local?

And just like that, Newbee was born—part survival guide, part community, part digital BFF. It didn’t promise to fix the weather or speed up bureaucracy (we’re not wizards… yet), but it made integration a whole lot more human.

Fast forward to today:
Newbee is now an award-winning app in Germany and a finalist in one of the country’s most prestigious competitions. We’re still in our early chapters, but the buzz is real.
